Hand Woven African Bowl - Small

These traditional baskets are hand-woven by basket weavers in the AfriBeads Women’s Association in Uganda. They are made using a traditional African coiled weaving technique from raffia palm tightly woven around a core of banana leaf stem.

The patterns represent different elements of traditional Ugandan culture.

The coloured baskets are traditionally given in Uganda as gifts on special occasions and can be used for fruit, bread or decoration. They are the perfect accent for any room of the house, a striking wall display, or use for fruit or bread.

Approximately 30cm in diameter
